Amendments to the First Schedule

The following amendments are made to the First Schedule of the Biological Agents and Toxins Act with effect from 16 February 2021:

• Addition of Heartland virus

• Addition of Severe Fever Thrombocytopenia Syndrome Virus

• Removal of Mayaro virus from Part I of First Schedule

• Revision of criteria for HIV lentiviral vector system
