Biosafety Advisory - Vigilance in Implementing Biosafety Procedures and Practices

Recent incident in the USA which resulted in potential exposure of a laboratory worker to Ebola virus serves as a reminder to all facility operators to remain vigilant in implementing biosafety procedures and practices.

Facility operators should develop and enhance on the biorisk management programmes in the facility, where applicable and ensure that the implementation is effective.
