Update on the Burkholderia Pseudomallei Incident at the U.S. High-Security BSL-3 Laboratory

Investigation suggested that lapses incurred in the use of personal protective equipment could have led to the bacteria getting out of the research laboratory to the breeding colony where the monkeys were resided and/or to the clinic where routine examinations and treatments were administered.
